We are now publicising our Lytham St Annes project, especially the Photo Competition, and all details are being added to the project page and downloads are also available there.
It is going to be a big challenge as there is little arts infrastructure in the area but we hope it will be a big success at the end of the 2 week period we are growing the exhibition from the 13th to the 22nd July.
One problem yet to be solved is the lack of a venue! We are working on finding and empty shop to exhibit our bigger images and ‘The People’s’ contributions which will include competitions for: souvenirs, postcards, slogans, the people’s wall and of course our map and survey. The Caravan Gallery itself will also be in attendance with an ‘Is Britain Great?’ exhibition.
Before that though we are taking ‘Bobble’ to Frankfurt for an appearance at the LÜFTEN festival over the 22nd, 23rd and 24th June. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to us there!
