extra{ordinary} is an exhibition of over one hundred colour photographs taken over the last fifteen years, that shows the extraordinary in the everyday, and is itself an extraordinary record of social change since the millennium.
This beautifully produced publication, designed by IDprojects, contains 132 pages and features 93 colour photographs by The Caravan Gallery, an introduction by the photographer Ken Grant and an essay by Alistair Robinson (Director, Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art).
Published in 2015 to coincide with extra{ordinary} Photographs of Britain by The Caravan Gallery national tour 2015-2016: NGCA, Sunderland; Impressions Gallery, Bradford; Diffusion Festival, Cardiff; Museum of Lancashire, Preston; mima, Middlesbrough; Solent Showcase, Southampton.
