Burnley Pride of Place Project Exhibition
18 MAY- 15 JUNE 2024
Open from 10am – 4pm daily from Saturday 18 May – Saturday 15 June. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
Launch celebration: Thursday 16 May, 4 – 7pm
Closing celebration: Saturday 15 June, 10am – 6pm
Venue: Charter Walk Shopping Centre (in corner unit by stairs up to Burnley Market)
The Burnley Pride of Place Project exhibition will feature photographs of Burnley by The Caravan Gallery along with an array of Burnley-related artworks and ephemera loaned and donated by the public. The exhibition will grow daily as visitors contribute to the display by bringing along their own items or participating in interactive activities such as sharing stories and memories of Burnley and adding memories, observations and notable landmarks to a large hand drawn People’s Map of Burnley.
Once the exhibition has closed, all exhibition contributions will be documented prior to being returned / available for collection later the following week.
