During May 2016 Kaunas Photo Festival hosted The Caravan Gallery for a 3 week residency as part of ‘Flaneur: new urban narratives‘ , a network project involving international partners.
The Savanoriai Museum – a temporary museum initiated by The Caravan Gallery and dedicated to Savanoriai Street – gave local people an opportunity to respond to their surroundings by participating and helping to build this evolving exhibition in an old sewing factory. A selection of photographs by The Caravan Gallery and fellow flâneurs were later exhibited at Meno Forma gallery, Kaunas and in outdoor glass photocubes in the town hall square.
