Tile Hill Pride of Place Project

Tile Hill Pride of Place Project

Newsflash!

Saturday 2nd July: Jan and Chris of The Caravan Gallery will be at Central Library, Coventry for a celebratory event showcasing all three Digital Spaces commissions.

The Caravan Gallery’s Tile Hill Pride of Place Project (August 2021 – ongoing) has resulted in part of Tile Hill Library being transformed into a participatory exhibition celebrating the area and its people. Please bring along loans and donations with a Tile Hill connection to add to the display – these could be your own arts and crafts inspired by Tile Hill, photos, artefacts, memorabilia and stories about the area. Make your mark on our People’s Map of Tile Hill, share some fascinating facts about where you live, as well as your hopes and dreams for Tile Hill in the future. If you fancy getting creative we’ll even help you make your own Greetings from Tile Hill postcards and local souvenirs! Visitors to the library will be able to enjoy an accompanying exhibition of photos from all over Britain on several occasions during the project when Jan and Chris bring their mobile gallery to Tile Hill.
